- 1 lb sweet Italian sausage (CHECK INGREDIENTS and make sure it is compliant) cut into chunks
- 1.5 cups quartered mushrooms
- 1 tsp avocado oil (or other paleo approved fat
- salt and pepper to taste
- crushed garlic (optional)
- fresh basil (optional)
- organic stewed tomatoes (optional)
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Brown the sausage. Add remaining ingredients and cook for about 5 more minutes until sausage is cooked through.
