I ran out of nuts to snack on, and I wanted to try something different. These were awesome!!! Great savory snack to add to my routine.
- 2 Tbsp bacon fat (or other paleo approved fat)
- 4 cups of nuts (your choice here)
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
In a large skillet over medium high heat, melt the fat. Add nuts and cook until they are toasty, stirring occasionally. While the nuts are cooking, combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Remove skillet from heat and add spice mixture to the nuts. Pour onto a baking sheet lined with paper towels. Allow to cool and enjoy!
