Clams

Easy Peasy. What a simple way to add a paleo component to a holiday meal.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs clams
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives or green onions
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 3 Tbsp ghee
  • 2 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 cup organic chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Put all ingredients (except for clams) into a skillet over high heat. Once it simmers, add the clams.  Cook and stir occasionally. Once the clams pop ALL the way open, then they are done. Put into bowls and ladle liquid over the top.
