This was surprisingly good. I wanted a sauce to put on root veggies and chicken. I could easily have made cauliflower rice to go with this, but I didn’t take the time to do so.
- 1.5 Tbsp arrowroot powder
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos
- 1/4 cup raw organic honey or grade B maple syrup (add more if you find you want it sweeter at the end)
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp paleo ketchup
Create a slurry by whisking the arrowroot and water together. Combine all ingredients, but be sure to whisk the slurry right before. Bring to just a simmer and remove from heat. You can pour over veggies or chicken and cauliflower “rice”. Enjoy!
