Cranberry Spiced Apples

Cranberry Spiced Apples

These were SOOOOO good! It felt like fall with Thanksgiving just around the corner. I had to step away from them they were so good. I’m not sure if they’re a dessert, a side dish, or something you would put on a pork roast (or turkey). No matter what, it is definitely worth making!!!

I actually thought about putting it all into the food processor because it would be awesome as a cinnamon cranberry applesauce… Maybe next time 🙂

Ingredients:
3 peeled and diced honeycrisp apples
1 bag of organic cranberries (Trader Joe’s)
2 Tbsp ghee or coconut oil
3 Tbsp Grade B Maple Syrup (less if you like it more tart)
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Saute the apples and cranberries with the ghee for about 15 minutes. Add all other ingredients to combine and cook for an additional five minutes. Serve warm or cold!
