I was looking for a quick sweet hit, and this was absolutely amazing!!! I feel like I’m eating pie filling and I am bound to try to see if I can do more with this. Pie, crepes…the possibilities are endless and it is SO easy!
I left the skin on to add to the nutritional value of the recipe.
One LARGE honeycrisp apple, chopped
1 Tbsp ghee
1 Tbsp grade B maple syrup
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
In a skillet, cook all ingredients over medium heat for about ten minutes. I even let my apples brown a bit. It was awesome!
